The design team of world renowned law firm Kirkland & Ellis, LLP and their architect Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill wanted to create a dramatic entrance for the law firms’ potential clients. SOM contacted Clune Construction and Trainor Glass to bring their ideas to fruition.

Trainor brought in the Spargo Group and Next Door Company to design and manufacture 14’ tall polished stainless steel glass doors for the main conference room. The doors are hung on DORMA CP1000 Pivots due to the weight of the steel and glass and are operated by automatic operators concealed in the ceiling. When closed, the doors form a beautiful glass and steel wall, and with the touch of a button, all 7 doors open simultaneously.
