ABOUT US
The Spargo Group was founded by Robert C. Spargo, AHC in 1993, and has grown into a full service team that provides professional door, hardware and building products consultation for architects, security integration, and act as manufacturer representatives for the finest and most reliable products available in the industry. In addition to writing specifications, we consult with building owners, developers and end users on master key systems, computerized key control, ADA and fire life safety review, electronic security system design and layout, budget analysis, and field surveys to evaluate product suitability and code conformance.
John Spargo
John Spargo, CSI is the company President and has been with the Spargo Group since its inception in 1993. He manages the company and handles all aspects of Sales calling on architects, distributors, contractors, and end users. John is also active with our local Industry organizations like CSI, IAPD, ILA, and DHI (Door and Hardware Institute)— including serving as the DHI Great Lakes Chapter President from 2007-2008.
John Waylock
Joined the Spargo Group in 2004 and serves as our Senior Sales Representative calling on end users, architects, and distributors for our architectural doors, hardware, and division 10 related products. He brings more than 30 years of extensive sales experience in the Chicagoland and Midwest Marketplace and managed a successful sales agency prior to joining the Spargo Group. John handles all of our lines with a special emphasis on our Division 10 and Washroom Related Product Lines.
Jorie Aluquin
Jose "Jorie" Aluquin, CSI has over 30 years in the Door and Hardware Industry. Jorie started his career working with various door and hardware distributors in his home state of California-- handling engineering, detailing and project management. He moved to the Chicago area and joined the Spargo Group in 2005 as our Specification Writer . He has spent the last 8 years writing specifications for dozens of architects in the Chicago Area. Jorie also acts as a Technical Resource for the Spargo Group and for our distributors , architects and end users.
Patty Stark
Patty Stark is our Inside Sales Administrator. She manages our job tracking and account management platform. Patty pursues new projects and job updates through the use of job lead programs and websites we share with our manufacturers.
